A high-speed police chase that started in Texas Thursday afternoon ended in Arkansas when the suspect crashed into a utility pole.
A high-speed police chase that started in Texas Thursday afternoon ended in Arkansas when the suspect crashed into a utility pole.
Texarkana Texas Police say 36-year-old Anthony Epps led officers across State Line Avenue around 4:15 p.m. Texarkana Arkansas Police joined the pursuit as Epps ran stop signs, sped through neighborhoods, and even passed a stopped school bus with its lights flashing. The chase ended when Epps lost control on East 31st Street and hit a SWEPCO pole.
He ran off but was quickly caught by police. Epps faces several charges, including felony fleeing, and also had an outstanding warrant from Conway, Arkansas. No injuries were reported.
